No trend-seeking clutter or overwhelming marketing BS--just expert advice & ideas to help you stay focused on what's most important for your author brand, career, & life.

Is it just me or has lmost everyone you've talked to this week been in a similar state of choatic resignation? LOL, I include myself in this. I don't know if it's the planetary alignment, or just life. But I'm going to do you a favor and make today's email short. I'll send you a more in-depth, goodie-filled one on a later date.

Two things I want you to know about:

#1 My new Hybrid Author Branding Program starts on Monday! Wooooo! I'm SOOOO excited to spend 6 months with this small group of incredible authors. If you've been meaning to apply but forgot, I've got you. Given the storms in the east and all that's been going on, I've decided to extend enrollment for this first cohort through Friday, Oct. 7th. (& not to worry, this program is flexible, you won't be behind if you start a little later). So if you want to see if its the right fit, use this form to apply & book a call now.

Also, I'll be opening up for a second cohort through the first week of November too. So if you miss this one, I'll remind ya.

#2 I did a multi-part video breakdown of the recent New York Times piece, "How to Get Published: A Book’s Journey From ‘Very Messy’ Draft to Best Seller," where I take a look at each phase of the publishing journey that Jessamine Chan went through with her bestselling debut novel The School for Good Mothers.

They claim she had no brand...so of course, I had to debunk that misconception! And I also offer additional advice for each step of the publishing journey. Check out my "Addendum" in my Iinstagram Reels.

Hope you have a great weekend and get to actually relax and enjoy the moment.

Oh and one more thing, Leigh Stein is doing her How to Get a Book Deal the Easy Way class again (next Thursday, Oct. 6th).

All the Best,

Andrea
